Quatuor Ébène’s Baltimore Debut last Sunday was the esteemed group’s first return to the region in 10 years. Since then, the group has changed personnel, most recently welcoming cellist Yuya Okamoto in January.

We're excited to announce our 2024-25 and 59th concert season. The institution’s mission since its founding almost 60 years ago has been to craft performances at the highest level of excellence. Hundreds of world-renowned and emerging international artists have appeared on the Shriver Hall stage and at respected partner venues throughout the region, establishing SHCS’s legacy of presenting prominent debuts and premieres to the Baltimore community and beyond.

NPR’s nationally broadcast “Morning Edition” featured a 7-minute segment about Nokuthula Ngwenyama’s work Flow written for the Takács Quartet. Co-commissioned Shriver Hall Concert Series and eight other presenters, we presented the work’s East Coast premiere at the Takacs String Quartet’s concert on our stage in November.
