Alban Gerhardt has, for 25 years, made a unique impact on audiences worldwide with his intense musicality, compelling stage presence, and insatiable artistic curiosity. He was joined by longtime recital partner pianist Cecile Licad. Acclaimed as “a particularly fine duo, working emotionally in unison" (The Telegraph, London), they performed a program of Bach, Beethoven, Debussy, and Franck’s luminous sonata in Shriver Hall on November 10, 2019.

A recipient of the prestigious Avery Fisher Career Grant and Gilmore Young Artist Award, he made his Baltimore Recital Debut on Shriver Hall Concert Series’ stage on April 7, 2019.
