Over the past two decades, the Jerusalem Quartet has consistently garnered accolades and acclaim for its “passion, precision, warmth, a gold blend” (The Times, London). This masterful performance opens with works by Haydn and the 20th-century master Shostakovich, and concludes with Brahms’ intense and restless first quartet.  This Saturday’s broadcast also includes a never before heard interview with violist Ori Kam and Jonathan Palvesky.

Just 25 years old, Conrad Tao has appeared worldwide as a pianist and composer, and has been dubbed a musician of “probing intellect and open-hearted vision” by The New York Times. A recipient of the prestigious Avery Fisher Career Grant and Gilmore Young Artist Award, he made his Baltimore Recital Debut on Shriver Hall Concert Series’ stage on April 7, 2019. German-Canadian cellist Johannes Moser, hailed for his "radiant playing" (The Baltimore Sun) and pianist Anna Polonsky, known for her "appealing touch" (The New York Times) welcomed audiences back to Shriver Hall in March 2019 following its 18-month renovation. Hosted by Jonathan Palevsky, enjoy their performance this Saturday as part of Summer Nights with Shriver Hall Concert Series on WBJC!

We are delighted to share that we are partnering with WBJC to present Summer Nights with Shriver Hall Concert Series on WBJC, a radio broadcast series that will present performances by eight of the world’s foremost ensembles and recitalists from our recent seasons, as part of WBJC’s long-running “Music in Maryland” Program.

We're pleased to co-present a special recital with clarinetist Anthony McGill on Friday, June 26 presented via online streaming, free for all.
