    The Subscription Series concerts and Spring Lecture Series talks are presented at Shriver Hall.

    Shriver Hall is located at the south end of The Johns Hopkins University Homewood Campus, directly behind the Baltimore Museum of Art.  For most GPS and mapping services, the best address to use is “Shriver Hall Concert Series, 3400 N.     The footpath between the BMA’s East Parking Lot and JHU’s Homewood Campus is now closing at dusk for safety reasons. An alternative pedestrian access point to JHU’s Homewood Campus is located a short walk up N. Charles St. A map can be found by clicking here

    From I-95 (southbound) or from I-695 (the Baltimore Beltway)

    Take the beltway toward Towson and take exit 23A onto the Jones falls Expressway (I-83) southbound. Take the 28th Street exit and go left on 28th Street. Turn left onto North Howard Street. One block past 29th Street, turn left at the traffic island (just before the Baltimore Museum of Art) onto Wyman Park Drive and follow around to the campus entrance opposite and just slightly north of the Wyman Park Building. The entrance to the South Garage is at the driveway where the signs read BOWMAN DRIVE and VISITOR AND MUSEUM PARKING.

    From I-95 (northbound)

    Take exit 53 onto I-395 north toward downtown Baltimore, then take the exit to Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and follow the directions from Martin Luther King Junior Boulevard below. 

    From Maryland 295 (the Baltimore-Washington Parkway)

    Entering Baltimore, the parkway becomes Russell Street. Stay on Russell Street until (with the new Baltimore Ravens stadium to your right and Oriole Park at Camden Yards looming before you) you reach the right-hand exit marked Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard (look carefully for this; the signs are small). This exit will put you very briefly on a service road parallel to Russell Street. Stay to the left and take the ramp marked Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Follow the directions (below) from Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.

    From Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard

    Take King Boulevard north until it ends at Howard Street (remain in one of the middle lanes of King Boulevard to avoid a premature forced right or left turn). Turn left at Howard Street and proceed about 2 miles. One block past 29th Street, turn left at the traffic island (just before the Baltimore Museum of Art) onto Wyman Park Drive and follow around to the campus entrance opposite and just slightly north of the Wyman Park Building. The entrance to the South Garage is at the driveway where the signs read BOWMAN DRIVE and VISITOR AND MUSEUM PARKING. 

    From the Jones Falls Expressway (I-83) southbound

    Take the 28th Street exit and go left on 28th Street. Turn left on North Howard Street. One block past 29th Street, turn left at the traffic island (just before the Baltimore Museum of Art) onto Wyman Park Drive and follow around to the campus entrance opposite and just slightly north of the Wyman Park Building. The entrance to the South Garage is at the driveway where the signs read BOWMAN DRIVE and VISITOR AND MUSEUM PARKING.

    From Baltimore's Penn Station

    From Penn Station, you can catch the Hopkins shuttle bus which will take you to the Homewood, Peabody, or medical campuses. There is no charge to take the shuttle. Follow this link to more information about the Hopkins shuttle schedule. If you opt to take a taxi, the fee should be quite modest. The University is very close to the train station.

    Using Public Transit 

    Shriver Hall is located near Maryland Transit Administration buses CityLink Silver (formerly No. 3) and LocalLink 51 (formerly No. 11.) Use the MTA's trip planner to estimate travel time and plan your route.

    The Charm City Circulator is a free shuttle that runs four routes in Baltimore City, generally arriving every 10 -15 minutes at the designated stops on each route. You can take the Purple Route to the Shriver Hall. Hop on and off the Northbound bus on Charles at 31st Street. (Log onto the Charm City Circulator Website for updates on bus locations, service times, and to find out if there are any delays.)

    From Southern Locations

    Take I-95 North, MD-295 North, or I-97 North, and then merge onto I-695 West/North toward Towson. Take Exit 12C toward MD-372 West, and then merge right onto MD-372 West/Wilkins Avenue. At the traffic circle, take the third exit to turn onto Hilltop Road. After crossing Hilltop Circle, turn left into Lot 8 (free parking). The concert hall is across from Lot 8, and is located on the second floor of the Performing Arts & Humanities Building.

    From Downtown Baltimore

    Take Howard Street to I-395 South. Take the left exit to merge onto I-94 South. Take exit 47 toward Maryland 166N/Catonsville and merge onto I-195 West. Take the last exit from I-195 toward Catonsville, and merge right onto S Rolling Road. Turn right on Wilkins Avenue. At the traffic circle, take the first exit to Hilltop Road. After crossing Hilltop Circle, turn left into Lot 8 (free parking). The concert hall is across from Lot 8, and is located on the second floor of the Performing Arts & Humanities Building.

    From Northern Locations

    Take I-83 South toward Baltimore. Stay to the right to merge onto I-695 West, and then merge left onto I-695 West. Take exit 12C-B to MD-372 West and then turn left onto MD-372 West/Wilkins Avenue. At the traffic circle, take the third exit to turn onto Hilltop Road.     On Campus

    Proceed from either direction around Hilltop Circle until you reach Hilltop Road, and then take Hilltop Road toward the center of campus.
