Winner of a 2006 Avery Fisher Career Grant, Turkish cellist Efe Baltacigil is quickly establishing a reputation as one of the foremost cellists of his generation with recent debuts including London’s Barbican, Vienna’s Musikverein, Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw, and New York’s Carnegie Hall. Performing works by Beethoven, Brahms, Shostakovich, and Uçarsu.
